"Why do you have so many
photos on your web?"

Here's a short note explaining the how and why of the
photos on our pages. We feel that we are definitely lucky to have
made the choices we have in life so far and to be able to be doing
what we are every day. Our journeys present us with breathtaking
views, the stunning displays of natural beauty, the encounters and
interactions with wildlife at the most basic level, the experience
of seeing the tiniest detail - and it all happens from the comfort
of our floating living room.
Some of you may look at the photos and think “Oh ya, another tree,
another rock, another waterfall, etc, etc...”, but that's not why we
put so many pictures online. It is easy to travel somewhere and
quickly get an overall impression, but to really get down to the
details takes more time. While many of the close-up photos appear to
be duplicates of larger photos, it is these close-ups that reveal
the hidden details that can't be seen from afar.
Many of our visitors are people that for one reason or another,
whether it be lack of time or money to travel, being physically
unable to travel and even those home- or bed-ridden, may never have the
chance to see and experience what we are doing every day.
It is for this reason, and for these people in particular, that we have
tried to capture and display the beauty that we are seeing everyday.
As we continue our global journey, we hope to be able to continue to
post thousands and thousands of photos capturing what we are seeing
right in front of us for you to enjoy.
So rather than just skimming through the photos, take the time to
really look at the photos, examine the details and transport
yourself from just looking at the photos to actually being part of
them.
Even if we only ever put one smile on one face we have done what we
set out to do
