MaxAIR 35/Honda air
compressor

We have our scuba dive gear on-board and like to fill our own dive tanks
(bottles) whenever
possible rather than trying to find a dive shop (if you can find
one). For this reason we have purchased the portable and compact MaxAir dive compressor
(with Honda gas engine) because of it's
size and price range. Filling our dive tanks when we are diving in
remote areas became just a lot easier while sailing along the coast of
British Columbia (BC), Alaska waters or anywhere we travel to
Jacques Cousteau is to thank for his revolutionization of diving with
the development of modern day SCUBA gear. Diving in remote places,
imagining you are the first person to SCUBA dive there, is cool and, as
we always dive as a team, we have an excellent buddy/safety system,
however dive tanks only provide about 1 hour of dive time before the
aluminum dive bottles are out of air. Onboard our sailboat the Mad
Dogs have a MaxAIR 35 dive compressor to make diving in remote areas
much more fun
The MaxAIR 35 is powered by a Honda GS-160 5.5hp gasoline engine. This
compressor is able to fill one of our 80 cu. ft. aluminum dive tanks in
approximately 20 minutes. No more do we have to leave a fantastic dive
site, just because we run out of air.
